To Be a Woman!

Writing after so long for a truly inspired post, something which has been so close to my heart. To understand what it is to be a woman.

There are so many things I feel we know exist but we turn a blind eye towards them. Blaming it on - is how things have been going. If not doing something, we should at least stop being a part of it.
Patriarchy, dominance, inequality, unequal women to men ratio, it's a long list.
Sometimes I feel some of the traditions laid out in the society are formed just to keep women in their place.

Questions:
Why are women of color, sexuality & different sizes shamed for presenting themselves as they are? Why is there a need to fight for equality?
Why can't we just accept compliments without adding a flaw to them with the fear of appearing arrogant and not modest?
So many metoo cases, inside the clan too, there is so much jealousy and strife.
Women have to fight, understand, make terms with- other women, men, society, and other x,y, z reasons.
Then comes the dreaded biological clock. Why is it so that a girl loses her respect after a rape, harassment, and any other societal evil?  Isn't this victim shaming? Why is she looked down upon? Why do we as humans have to ask what kind of clothes that girl was wearing? It all depends on the human's mentality. Isn't it? Why aren't we taught this from the beginning?

Women's day should be about harmony, about supporting each other, about not viewing a lack of beauty in self when we witness someone more beautiful than us. For not providing so many explanations. About understanding each other's place of speech, before quickly passing a judgment. We all have our reasons. About not back bitching but about promoting. Of about growing. Ganging up for a cause, not for a boss.

It doesn't mean waging war against men. No. It simply means celebrating each other & being human.
If not believing but at least providing a good ear to the unsung heroes, survivors, warriors, before already deciding, it must have been their fault. Yes sure, there are some impostor cases too, but it doesn't mean we stop believing.
Women's day should be treated as humans day, in the sense that it should work on being humanitarian- respecting another human consent, Eradicating taboos that ultimately lead to crimes.

Most crimes of this sort are a result of curiosity which went a little too far and was further mixed with negative emotions (Lust, jealousy, anger, revenge, etc.)
Can't we work on that? Can't we channelize that curiosity in a positive direction?
We are humans, we ought to be curious, if that curiosity is rightly dealt with instead of sweeping it under the carpet, it can form into knowledge and awareness.

What's the need to provide a special day when it can be realized every day!!!
